Guppy is the nickname of a village lad (Master Chetan) who makes a living by rearing and selling guppy fish, a kind of cheap fish. He has only his ailed mother (Rohini) whom he has to take care of. Guppy has a number of friends Abu, Christi, Jaffer, and Pappoi. Together they do many mischievous activities. The arrival of Tejas Varkey (Tovino Thomas) creates great issues in the village. Tejas is an engineer who comes to the town to supervise the construction of a bridge.
