The friendship between BTech student Irfan (new face Shine Nigam, son of mimicry artist Aby) and research student Anitha (Sruthi Menon) and the lives around them form the plot of the film. The various incidents that take place in one day are narrated in Kismat. The movie is shot completely in Ponnani. Vinay Forrt does a major role as SI Ajay C Menon.
